For over 19 years (CAPA) has been building community by providing low-income families the tools and opportunities to improve their lives and their neighborhoods. CAPA was created as the direct result of the work of local community activists,  and professionals who came together to address issues affecting the disenfranchised. That vision, of the community uniting in the pursuit of positive change, has created the foundation that sustains CAPA's work to this day. 

CAPA continues to be nurtured by a deep well of community support. Our success stems from the support we receive from  volunteers, donors, community partners, and our public sector champions at the local, state, and federal levels.
